FIRST ALL LOOK HERE! IT SPEAKS TRUTH! www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…

Oh for the love ALL THAT'S UNHOLY!!!

Okay okay, So one fine day I get a cute little email from some Sephiroth fan, obsessing over my site and how great Sephiroth is, right? I think, aw, how cute.. it's one of those newbie fans that JUST discovered Sephiroth and suddenly think they're the only fan in the world and know EVERYTHING there is to know about him...

She starts asking me a whole bunch of questions about Sephiroth, to which I kindly give her the explanations in THOROUGH detail. ..But then she throws crap in my face. How? By Stating one of the worst quirks I have in the FF7 world..

"well part of your statement is true Lucrecia was his mother, and Vincent was his father. Hojo was the one who just implanted cells in the womb of Sephy"

To which I held my breath and COMPOSED myself before having a violent outburst.. ad solemnly replied..

"Unfortunately, Vincent was not Sephiroth's father... Hojo was. Hojo said HE was, and the game never states anything against it."

Then to which I get a rather condescending..

"ah -ah -ah! He was so! Vincent was Sephiroth's father Hojo says he's the father because he was experimenting on him since he was still in the womb."

*sigh* and to which I then reply... holding my tongue no less..

"Yet there's absolutely NO evidence in the game to make that a fact..."

She then replies to me with a few pictures done by the lovely :icondivine-star: ..

"Sephiroth has a mixture of veela and vampire genes so they would look different But look at the similarities The eyes, the noses and the way their hair sways and also Sephiroth has the mixtures of Lucrecia's genes so it would sorta look diffrent"

What the HELL is 'Veela'? And Does anyone realize that Vincent is NOT a bloody friggen Vampire? And so I bite my tongue again and reply..

"That is FANART. Perhaps you should take a look at the OFFICIAL ARTWORK and then make your assumption. As we can now see from the new Advent Children movie. Vincent and Sephiroth are now in HIGH DEFINITION.. and have absolutely no similarities in facial structure, Where Sephiroth has STUNNING resemblances to Hojo, especially in the square of their jaw and the shape of their eyes. YES Vincent was in love with Lucrecia. Yet Lucrecia REFUSED Vincent's hand, and ran to Hojo and KISSED Hojo right in front of Vincent.
I mean no ill will, go back and do over Lucrecia's Waterfall sidequest. I'm sorry you have mixed signals, yet your assumptions are only based on simply that, ASSUPTIONS. Hojo says he's the father. No one contradicts him. The game NEVER contradicts him. I sincerely suggest you replay the game and pay attention to the words spoken and the actions made between these fictional sprites."

And thus I get another reply from this outstanding Sephiroth fan...

"-_-; I'm on the third disk besides I get all my info on my friend Jenovi she is a freaking bizzar ultimate fan of FF7 she does soooo much research on Vincent and Sephiroth it's not even funny. and  THERE IS evidence. You know when Cloud first meets Vincent? Vincent talks a LOad of Sephiroth and when they get to Lucrecia's cave Vincent tells Lucrecia how much he loves her. Before Lucrecia died she and Vincent were in love. pay more attention to the game's detail"

Uh.. I did pay attention.. and all I saw was Lucrecia and Vincent walking down Nibelhiem.. Vincent proposing to Lucrecia, and Lucrecia REJECTING him, and then running off to go make out IN FRONT of Vincent with Hojo.. She then continues with this..

"You know what this discusion is over im sick of listening to you. Your being an asshole to me and you think you can rule over me. Don't ever email me again unless it's POLITE and nice!"

Rule.. you? I'd rather rule a rotting pile of sh--... never mind.. She then proceeds to curse me out in MSN, to which I did not bother to reply to at all... But I wanted to give her a chance, you know? I was once a young fan too, and even I liked to think that Vincent was the father... But he just isn't... Sorry. He isn't. and so I reply once more...

"Once again you're taking my relaying of the truth out of context... It is not my fault you are getting upset over nothing. I have said nothing vulgar or condescending towards you once in any of our exclamations, and here you simply prove your inability to have a simple discussion by spouting useless and might I add HARMLESS vulgarities at me for no apparent reason. I've been polite to you since the beginning, have stated my facts and thorough observations. Do not blame me for you upsetting yourself over them. Please, let us be mature and start over?"

Now her final reply was the clencher.. I swear to god, whoever is reading this.. do NOT be drinking anything.. you will spit out whatever you are sipping!

"No because you think ur right and I hate people who think their always right Your telling me what to do. u are give me orders and that really pisses me off 'Go back to Lucrecia's Waterfall , replay the game and yadayadayada...' No FUCKING way in Hell! When Vincent was a Turk they had a mission to save some hostages. Vincent found one of the criminals hold a gun to Lucrecia's head. Vincent killed the criminal and Lucrecia and Vincent escaped to the other turks. After, the criminals were killed all the hostages were safe and Lucrecia fell in love with Vincent. Lucrecia had Sephiroth, Hojo took Lucrecia away by force and did some experiments on Sephiroth while he was still in the womb. Lucrecia died of the experiments and Sephiroth grew up as a science experiment for Hojo's delight Later he did an experiment on Vincent by shooting him in the heart giving him a claw and putting him in the coffin. Hojo after years kept telling himself I am the father of Sephiroth just because he did some stupid experiments on him. He was too stupid to a DNA test to prove it. THAT'S A TRUE STORY OF HOW IT HAPPENED. If u don't belive me fine I don't give a flying fuck about it. I know the truth so either we talk about something else and you be POLITE to me and not giving me orders and I'll stop curseing or else leave me alone and don't ever email me again. and also its Lucrecia's CAVE not Waterfall the cave is hidden behind the waterfall"

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I couldn't stop laughing. I just gave up right there and blocked her from emailing me. This was a lost cause. God that was so great... I think I'm going to piss myself.. :lmao:

My goodness! I'm roughly 6 years late ne? XDD
Even though i played ff7 way back in the start of '98, i was never in the fandom, heck i was too small to know what fandom was XD. The i joined CLAMP's fandom and from there i learned O_O fans are so scary...i mean fan like this one you spoke of.
wow....just wow....
I found this page through ED btw XDDD.
so i read this and the earlier rant and some comments to see if i was the only person that's replying to this after years XD and i can't help but wonder. Wasn't it a bit disconcerting to interact with a mentally unbalanced person? (i met someone that thought the matrix was real at one point...it.was.very.scary T.T)
My friend even asked me if she wasn't a dedicated troll and not someone who believes the things she says. lol

If you mean interacting with SephirothsSlave, as I mentioned in comments, she and I never interacted. All she did was comment on my journals and 6 years ago it was common courtesy to watch-back someone who watched you. I, of course, no longer watch her, nor do I know anything about her currently.

Can't say what it was like since she and I never talked, I knew as much about her as ED does.

I can only hope she's grown up over the years.

I think she got her facts from several different fanfics. She probably didn't play the game, just watched some friend play it.

Whoa is it 2005 again? :O

Anyway, yeah I suppose. I was rather baffled at the time.

Haha. He's gonna take you back to the past, to read some shitty comments that suck ass...

I found it through ED, and I thought I'd leave a reply, because I was so stunned by what I read. I kind of recognized one portion of what she was saying from a rather famous FFVII fanfic, and a good one, at that - but it's still a fanfic and not the game, and I think that this person did not quite grasp this.

Are you talking about the train-wreck that is I know what's beneath the snowfields? Oh god the nostalgia is blowing my mind. :dead:

I couldn't get through it all from the length, absurdity, and the author's terrible typos and grammar. I'd forgive her because English wasn't her first language, but it got too obnoxious after a while.

But yeah I figured that's how you got here, I've seen the article, and I was never in anyway associated with... whoever that sephiroth fangirl was. Back then people watched eachother back out of courtesy, not because we actually liked/knew eachother.

Indeed. The story had many flaws, for sure, but it was still a good read nevertheless. A lot of things were very off, though (like how a city destroyed by a meteor can flourish, with functioning infrastructure only a year later - not very well thought-out, I'd say), some characters seemed a little out of character (like Elena for instance, almost acting kind of...black) and yes, it was riddled with typos. I still enjoyed it, though. I loved the way Hojo was portrayed, and it had a very bad-ass and interesting villain (Davoren), who made a pretty good fan character. All in all, I enjoyed it very much, but I can definitely understand where you're coming from.

I know what you mean. Truth be told, though, I figured that you're not associated with her once I read your rant. I'm not one to judge people based on a link in an ED article. ^^

(Davoren I admit was a well thought-out character).

That's great to hear :) I know most readers of it are smart enough to figure it out; since it was written I actually haven't been flamed once.

That's great, but it's understandable; you sound intelligent in your rant, not like an immature fangirl with issues, so that's probably why you haven't been flamed.

Thank you for the Lllama badge, by the way. *goes to return the favor*
